Where are you from?
I am originally from Guangdong, China. I did my bachelor study in Southeast University, Nanjing for four years and continued to work in the home university for one year afterwards. During my bachelor study, I also once an exchange student in Yuanze University in Taiwan. And then I joined in the Erasmus Mundus master degree program, Master of Research and Innovation in Higher Education (MARIHE Program), which is coordinated by Danube University Krems, Austria, University of Tampere, Finland, Beijing Normal University, China and Osnabruck University of Applied Science, Germany. And I stayed and studied in the four countries during my master’s study. After the master’s study, I begin my doctoral study in University of Tampere, and stay in Tampere. So basically I am originally from China, but I am also from a diverse cultural growth path.
What would you like to tell about yourself?
I am a positive, easy-going and open-minded person. I like simple and focused life, but I also enjoy meeting with different people and getting to know the diverse world where we live.
Tell more about your professional/study activities?
Currently, I am a doctoral candidate and researcher in University of Tampere, working on my doctoral research about the quality assurance of doctoral education collaboration between Europe and China.
What is your involvement in CSSA-Tampere?
Currently I am the Chairperson of the Organisation Committee of CSSA-Tampere. Along with all the coordination and management work of the Association, I am endeavouring to further institutionalise and formalize the organisation of the Association, and hopeful enhance the reputation and influence of the Association in the society through all kinds of activities in related to its missions.
