Where are you from?
I am Lishan Wu, from Guangdong, China. I moved to Tampere when I started my bachelor degree in Environmental Engineer at Tampere University of Applied Science back in 2011. In 2013- 2014 I did one year Erasmus exchange in Germany and received double degrees. Currently I am doing my 2nd year master degree in Industrial Engineering and Management at TUT.
What would you like to tell about yourself?
I am very interested in clean technology. My career goal is to bring Finnish advanced clean technology to Asian countries. I am hard-working and proactive student for study and life, I also enjoy doing voluntary work.
Tell more about your professional/study activities?
I am familiar with different types of environmental solutions, such as waste water treatment, waste to biogas, Waste incineration to energy. My focus area in master study is international sales and sourcing. I want to combine my technical skills with international sales and management skills, so that I can promote clean technologies and devices to Asian countries and help solve the environmental pollution problems. Currently I am working as a master thesis trainee for a Finnish company with energy business.
What is your involvement in CSSA-Tampere?
Currently I am the director of organization sector in CSSA-Tampere Ry. Our sector is responsible for organizing events for Chinese scholars and students, such as annual orientation meeting, summer meeting, Spring festival get-together, exchange student farewell party and so on. Our sector is hoping to increase the communication among Chinese students.
